Mehdi Attarha is an accomplished executive with an outstanding track record spanning over more than 25 years in senior management roles in strategy development, investment and asset management, value creation and business transformation, operational excellence, and business development, and consulting and mentorship. 

Mehdi’s professional journey in three continents and working with large consulting, investment and development institutions has given him the opportunity to develop a deep and broad knowledge tied to a global perspective on best practices, and the insight to be able to appreciate and successfully navigate cultural intricacies in various environments. 

Mehdi’s expertise lies in developing workable strategies, identifying and evaluating new business and investment opportunities, negotiating partnership structures, incubating new businesses, and managing operations in both mature markets as well as emerging economies. He has held various roles with large and renowned consulting organizations such as C&L and PwC in Canada, and large investment and development funds such as Mubadala Investment Company and Dubai Investment Authority in the Middle East. The latter two are among the largest sovereign wealth funds globally. He has also held various C-Suite roles and has been a member of the board of directors for several businesses. 

Mehdi has a keen interest in healthcare technology and its application. He is an advisor and mentor to technology start-ups and scale-up companies. Mehdi holds a Master’s Degree in Health Administration from the Pennsylvania State University/USA, a BSc. in Industrial Engineering from the University of Toronto/Canada, and is trained in Executive Leadership at the Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto/Canada.
